Acts Family Ministry
Vision Statement of Acts Family Ministry
The Acts Family Ministry equips its families to become a biblical family.
A Biblical family is a group of believers who live in intentional fellowship with one another for the purpose of worship, discipling the next generation, and fulfilling the mission of God.
Each household is called to transform their home into small biblical families through the support of the big family, the church. They are to do this by the power of the Spirit through prayer (prayer meetings and intercessors) and by the truth of the Word (Sunday School, family discipleship material, and seminars) which leads to taking part in the mission together (intergenerational mission trips, evangelism, and outreach).
AFM Ministries
Acts Nursery (2-3 Years)
Acts Nursery is offered for toddlers who are 2-3 years old. The toddlers join ActsKids praise and pastoral teaching, and break out into their age-appropriate lesson based on our Gospel Project curriculum, and then have time for craft/activities and free playtime.
ActsKids (PreK-5th Grade)
ActsKids is offered for children from PreK to 5th grade. ActsKids begins with a worship service and breaks out into classrooms to discuss the Gospel Project curriculum. Each grade has their own classroom with a dedicated teacher that will lead each child to draw nearer to Christ.
Acts Youth (6th-12th Grade)
Acts Youth joins the main adult worship service and breaks up into two classes afterward to discuss the Gospel Project curriculum. Once a month they take a break from class to fellowship and hear testimonies from their peers and the older generation.
Check-In and Safety
We require all children to be checked in and out by their parents before being dropped off in ActsKids. The Check-in kiosk can be found on the right side of the adult worship entrance. Every staff and volunteer working in Acts Family Ministry are required to complete a Safety Training provided by MinistrySafe.
Next Generation Prayer Partner Ministry
Through this ministry, adults commit to pray weekly for an individual student for the whole school year. This ministry aims to have each individual be prayed for from the day they are born to the day they graduate. The ministry also works to foster intergenerational relationships and connect families who pray for one another.
Parent Seminars
The pastoral team provides parent seminars in order to equip parents to live out their calling to be the primary disciplers of their children.
