Adult Christian Education Class

Classes meet after service in various rooms in the building adjacent to the sanctuary starting at 1130am each week and ending an hour later. Courses begin on February 7th. Pre-registration is not required but is encouraged.

Church History:
The history of the Church is more than the history of an institution or of a movement; it is a history the deeds of the Spirit in and through the men and women who have gone before us in faith. These men and women have left a record of their witness in the most diverse circumstances--through persecution and blood, through piety and meditation, through preaching and writing, and even sometimes through the abuse of power and lack of faith. For any who are interested in what happened to the church following the accounts of the New Testament, or how the church went from a band of misfits to one of the greatest forces in human history, or are simply curious, then this class may be for you.
Taught by Mr. Hao Wu

Ten Commandments:
One of the most well-known documents of Christianity, the Ten Commandments are a vital part of the believer's life of faith. In recent years, many Christians have lost touch with this important part of our heritage and history. As a result, both the morality of the church and the understanding of the purpose of that morality have suffered. Come and equip yourself with a proper understanding of the Ten Commandments, and in doing so, learn to build up Christ in your own heart and the church in your life.

Biblical Counseling: How do people change? The desire to change is a fundamental human longing, and yet many people, even Christians, fail to understand how real change occurs. The Bible provides a particular perspective on the nature of humans, their problems, and the way in which those problems are solved that is crucial for the life of every person who seeks to change. This problem is not just for people with serious problems! If you ever wanted to help others in their sins and struggles, or if you have ever desired to overcome nagging weakness in your own walk, this class is for you!
Co-taught by P. Woonny Kim and Mrs. Hanna Kim
